Stormy Posted May 1, 2013 Report Share Posted May 1, 2013 I moved 2 and a half hours from home up to Yorkshire, i am maybe a bit odd in that i actually prefer being away from home and i am happier in a new area. It was hard at first because i didn't know anyone and had no friends. Then we moved again so i had to do it all over again but now im working here etc its alot better and getting out and about with the dogs helps I wouldn't say i have many friends here even still now just colleagues etc tbh! But i know people and dont feel on my own and i feel alot safer around here knowing some people Friends from back down south i lost alot of them tbh you do find out who your real friends are and TBH most of them are actually on this forum Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
