My New Wheels

After much debate, I decided I was too young to have a Chevy Traverse or GMC Acadia, not to mention, I couldn't afford the payment even for a used vehicle of that kind.

SO this is what I settled on... Paid $8,000 for it vs. the $19,000 they wanted for those vehicles mentioned above :) It's only a V6, but my hubs said I couldn't have anything with a Hemi in it, and the insurance is cheaper this way. MUCH Cheaper!!!! Oh, and I don't have to lift Diesel 4 ft into the air to get into it either, like I did with my truck, LOL!

And this is going to be retired for the summer while hubs takes the lift kit off of it (we bought it that way) and takes all the paint off and re-paints it, and undercoats the frame, changes the oil pan on the motor, and puts new seats in it, a new dash, etc... this truck is so plain-Jane inside, it doesn't have POWER anything!!! I'm so excited my new car has power windows and I can hook my iPod up to it...that's all I was looking for in a car!!! Hahah (In the photo below...my Husband is 6 ft 2...)

Even with only a six cylinder, it just looks fast.  Nice ride.

Oh, it is. In my truck, I always felt like I was speeding...even going 5 under the speedlimit because of the tires...

But in my new car, I didn't realize I was going 15 over!!!! Good thing we live in a rural area with hardly any cops...!!
