6 Month Old Husky Bitch Whining

Hi guys,

Our little pup always seems to whine.

Sometimes we can be out walking for an hour or so then when she gets home she sort of whimpers as though she's bored.

We've noticed it at night too, and she's even destroyed a couple of zena's shoes.

I've started working away and have to stay over 1/2 nights, is it possible that she misses me, even though Zena and Kobi (our 16 month husky) are both in the house.

Is there anything i can do to help the little dog, and save Zena's shoes while i'm away?

Use an old towel, and sleep with it for a couple of nights.

Give that to her when you go away.

And. . . . .

Put ALL the families shoes away in a cupboard, especially when leaving the dogs alone.

(just common sense) :)

Ha ha, thanks Andy - i normally shut the doors to certain rooms, but this particular night we let the little one upstairs and she had special access to shoes!

Would she still be teething at 6 months?

Yes, they can lose teeth up to a year.

Also puzzle balls, kongs, empty coke bottles with treats in.

Stuff to keep them interested and busy while you're out.
