Ever tried Dill pickles wrapped in bacon? We do that to season our camp griddle. Cut the pickles to the width of the uncooked bacon. Wrap the bacon around the pickle (use a toothpick to hold in place) put on the griddle until the bacon is done. MMmmmm Tastey!
