I should point out that when I said e cig and gamucci are compatible I meant the screw on type. The oil tanks are not as far as I know! We use v.i.p (hubby quit too) for the tank and oils, it's a bit pricier but the ingredients list is short and the oil is much better quality than some I've seen (less c*** added and not too runny). You have to be careful not to get oil into the inner tube when you refill or you'll end up either getting a mouthful of the stuff (it's very toxic especially on skin) or it'll mess up the battery!

Good luck to you both :D Robert is part of the vapo-cig club and has done very well over the last 8 months or so. Of course he bought the most expensive one he could find!!! But the money saved from not buying packets of them is crazy! I've never smoked so don't understand the mechanics of giving up :P

I used champix tablets for 1 mnth but still was getting the craving for nicotine which these tablets were supposed to stop, so for the last week i have been using one of the USB rechargeable e cigs. I haven't had a proper cig since I started using it, I was smoking between 25 - 30 a day before so I'm quite pleased this seems to be working so far. Plus it's saving me a fortune lol! :)

So good luck, and I hope it works for you also

Go for it Lee and good luck to you and Lorraine. I stopped last October with the help of Zyban tablets. You're supposed to take one a day for six days while still smoking and then on the 6th day you stop. The tablets then go up to two a day until the course runs out.  I got to about the third day, after stopping, only taking one a day and forgot to take them after that so win win all round. I haven't smoked since or wanted one for that matter.

Should point out guys that just because your using ecigs instead does not mean you have given up ... Giving up smoking is all about removing your need to have a cig which is your addiction to nicotine. All this is about is using something a little more healthy, but its still a poisonous toxin, just less of them.

PS: Thats from a smoker

Lol yes Marc I do realise that using the e cig does not mean that I've quit .. But I'm now at the stage where I use the e cig first thing in morning (as a smoker this was the most enjoyable one of the day lol) to maybe once or twice at night depending on my stress levels.

Your lucky then!  I started when I was 18 and stopped right before I turned 36 .  I really didn't want to quit at all but the OH insisted LOL  That, and it was too $$.  I thought I would be a a$$ when I quit but it was MUCH easier than I thought!

  • 2 weeks later...

Okay, it's official! Me, one of my colleagues and my boss are quitting smoking as of today! We had our last cigarette with the morning coffee. Lee, you're not alone!

Best of luck to ya!
