HuskyGuerl
Hi all! I have a quick question. This the first time Larka has blown her coat..Echos hair has ALWAYS been soft during blow and after..and Meekas hair is also..but Larka after her coat blow it became rather wirey and I don't like it..it looks weird and feels weird..is there any thing I can do to help this?? It just started after her coat blow This was before the blow..so soft and fluffy And now sleek and wirey My parents even said something about it when they came down today
Val (Zebedee)
2 of mine are the same; after a blow, their coat almost feel like nylon! But when the new undercoat grows in, they get their fluffiness back so hopefully Larka will be the same. In the meantime, make sure you feed oily foods to help her coat shine again

Val (Zebedee)
yep, that would help. We regularly feed ours fresh fish (full of natural oils) or tinned fish in sunflower oil on their kibble, it all helps

Elyse
Suka's gets like that too until his undercoat comes back in. I feed him fish oil (Omega 3, 6, and 9) and it seems to help.
Andy
Both Darwin and Daughtry stay quite smooth during their blows. there's nothing in their diet it's just genetics.
