In Love With A Broom Lol

From the girls shedding like crazy, I've been wearing, eating, breathing hair. My broom for my wood floors in the kitchen does nothing but stir it up into the air... Not very effective.

I bought a new broom yesterday, dog hair specified. (Pet buddies Furbegone) It is amazing! It has silicone or rubber bristles that pick it up but doesn't toss it up in air. It even picks up hair in the carpet. I did a 2×4 section of carpet, and it brought up enough hair to equal a brushing during a coat blow. All of this my vacuum missed. I am in love!!! Luna was staring at me while I was sweeping the carpet like I had lost my mind. Lol

Oh its head is dishwasher safe too.

This is it, not fancy or anything. But it works.

Darn it not available in the UK :(

You might look around for similar products. I'm sure there's got to others under different names...

Just found a similar item on amazon.co.UK smart clean rubber broom £5.30

Ordered.

Will work nicely on the laminate flooring I'm putting down next weekend. :)

Andy, let us know how the other 2 work. I may be tempted to buy something like them. :)

Yarp. . . Will do :)

  • 5 weeks later...

I've had mine for a few weeks and it's awesome.

Hairs do not tangle and clog up the bristles.

Floor is clear in a couple of minutes.

I also got the smaller brush set which does a brilliant job on the furniture.

Highly recommended.

It has saved my vacuum! My poor vacuum was constantly getting clogged and motor burning out. Now I use my broom on the carpets beforehand, and its amazing how much it brings up. I look at all that hair and think, good lord, all that was being sucked up... No wonder the thing was dying.
