Claire82loki
Hi am just asking for bit of advice Loki is 13 month old and is usually good on a night sleeping through however past few weeks he has not wanting to go outside a couple of times during the night were he will just lie down or have a mooch around each time for bout an half an hour to an hour and causing disturbance for family were all very tired and my dad reaching the end of his tether lol I don't feel it's exercise that's the problem as he gets at least two to three good walks a day the last being at 9 ish on a night he eats a bit late on a night which might contribute but hasn't been a problem before he usually sleeps in my parents room on the floor he has naps during the day but not excessive so any advice wouldbe much appreciated could the warm weather be the problem? Many thanks
Stormy
Is it hot in your house? I have a fan on at night for mine at the moment as its just to warm and Skye kept howling in the night until i did this, worth a try
sarahjng
It could be the heat, Bear sleeps outside on the balcony every night since it got hot, and slept like a baby, when it peed down the other night I carried him in ( he really, really wanted to sleep out in the rain lol ) and it was a horrible night for us, he was prowling around, couldn't settle, didn't settle until the air conditioning cooled the bedroom right down. Claire82loki
Hi regarding disturbance jumping on us and play fighting to wake us up lol I am tempted to just let him stay outside as our gates are locked and so is secure my dad has been having the air conditioning fan on in the room were he sleeps but it mustn't be cool enough for him also he's just coming to the end of blowing his coat and is being groomed tonight so that may help him be a bit cooler bring on the rain lol thanks again for advice
