We have only gone through about 5 pounds of dog food in about a week and a half. I know they don't eat much but duke really doesn't eat much. I put his food down in the morning when we eat breakfast and at night when we eat supper and he just doesn't seem interested. He ate probably half a cup total yesterday?

He is active and is healthy so not too concerned yet and he has gained at least 4 pounds since we have had him (2 weeks on Saturday) he looks fuller and healthier with his coat and just in general.

Just wanted to see what kind of eating habits other husky parents have.

My boy Darwin will quite often miss a meal.

and if it's particularly warm he might miss an entire day.

He's healthy.

Some will eat everything they can fit in their gobs 24/7

Others are more picky.

If Duke goes into a 3rd day without eating take him to the vets.

but as long as he's drinking plenty, pooping well energetic and sleeping ok

then don't worry too much

luka skips meals and then sometimes eats like there's no tomorrow. i feed him only 2 cups per day and he's over a year. huskies don't eat a ton.

Yeah, I'm not concerned yet, his poop is normal, he drinks plenty, sleeps well, just didn't know what everyone else went through for food. I had expected to buy a bag every two weeks. Lol not looking that way though (not complaining)

My two girls eat like they are starving all the time..but my boy echo will sometimes go two days without eating..but he's healthy and good looking you can't even tell if he's missed a meal lol
