Avalanche is perfectly happy outside during the day and Sasha's crashed about 4 feet away from me. At night, Avalanche wants in and sleeps right next to my bed and Sasha prefers to sleep out on the porch ... If I were you, as others have said, I'd get one and see how they do - they'll let you know in short order if it's too cramped for them!
