love4Luna
Does anyone else have an issue with their husky/huskies being bounce-off-the-walls hyper the ENTIRE time inside? If I take her outside, she will lay down, and when she goes in her crate at night, she will calm down. But just being loose inside its almost like the zoomies all day long. She does get exercise, she gets about 2 hours collectively during the day, and we also play. But just being in the house, she goes nuts. My other two will lay down and nap at times, but she won't. What can I do???

winterchillz
Haha, Ares is like that when he comes inside! He'd run up and down in every room, jump on the beds, then run around them. He'd lay down for a bit, then woo at me and keep on running, he's a freak when he's inside! No idea what to do, honestly!
smed
Bolt has a "Mad 10 minutes" is what we call it, He'll basically sleep all day wake up go nuts then go back asleep for an hour and repeat.
sarahjng
Bear was like this till we changed his diet to raw then he calmed right down, ( now of course he's nuts again, the joy of having a new puppy !)
Jay
Mine have their moments when they get the zoomies inside but that usually only happens a few times an evening. They are pretty crazy all evening with only a few rests. But on weekends when they are out all day they are much more calm
kaseyandandi
Andi just had her first moment like that. I'd never seen a dog run so fast and hard before. It shocked me at first but then I just had to laugh
KCspack
kc does her Zoomies daily, lasting only a short while, normally... However she was outside with my 18yr old and went on and on and on, I thought she was going to have a heart attack!!! The ten minutes, I can handle lol

jmscott
Did your area have a drop in temperature? Its pretty common for Nordic breeds to get really excited when the weather gets colder.
