I heard those are very bulky and their battery doesn't last very long (I heard max of an hour??). And it doesn't help if your dog is stolen...somebody could easily take the GPS collar off. For my 'tracker', I just listen to his tag clinging against each other. It's rather effective - when he's trotting/running I can hear him maybe 150-300 meters away. But I have good hearing so...
