Crate Training - Crate Size

I have read a lot on crate training and just need one thing clearing up if possible. Is it the best idea to get a smaller crate when getting a puppy and then getting a large once the puppy outgrows it or can you just start out with a large crate anyway? I have read some people just using a large crate to start out.... I would be concerned about messing if the crate is too large..

Thanks,

The bigger the crate, the less constrained and more relaxed your Husky will be.

And so when it becomes their place to be when you're out, their place of

safety and comfort, if it's already big enough for an adult Husky it means you don't have to spend out on different sizes.
