If you literally find yourself homeless there should be a homeless persons unit at your local council who could provide emergency accommodation such as a bedsit (although may be a rubbish hostel in which case sleeping in ur car is probably safer!) You would probably have to sneak your dogs in though but frankly do u really give a **** about rules if it's gone to these extremes? Might be worth getting some time off and talking to your local citizens advice bureau (CAB) about the situation as they may be able to offer you some more valuable advise. Either way if u explain the situation to your superiors you might be able to get a couple of weeks off work, that coincides with your homeless period and use it as an excuse to go visit your family down south.
