Took the furbabies to the vets today for weighing and worming, Freyja gulped hers down (like everything else !) Bear wasn't interested at all. So after dinner I try to be sneaky, first I shoved it inside a cube of lamb ( yeah right lol) then I thought, smother it with peanut butter ! He took it, sucked all the peanut butter off and spat it on the floor ! Only for Freyja to swoop in and down It, I was on her straight away but her throught is like the black hole of Calcutta. Anyway, freaked out called the vet their CLOSED ! How can they be closed, OH it's ten at night duh. Luckily they have an emergency number for village vets, a 24/7 helpline, how cool is that ! Lovely vet said we might get some vomiting and diarrhoea but don't panic ! I think I actually felt my heart start beating again ! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have to grind tablets and mix them with a little royal canin wet food which she loves. If she senses any lumps or bumps they are promptly spat out on the floor. I went through 10 pieces of ham and a lot if peanut butter before I got the hammer out and just whacked them into a powder, as she's just finishing a months worth of steroid treatment, we had to find some way to get them into her! Hope your Bear doesn't suffer too much tonight, but on the plus side, at least you know he doesn't have worms!
