clyvert
HI guys, long story short here, malakai had to go to the vets because we found a lump on the top of his left front leg, the vet wasnt happy with it so we had a biopsy done, anyone have any ideas how long the results will take to come through or have any similar experiences. As you can well imagine i'm absolutely freaking out with worry, any help/advice or anything be much appreciated thanks
sarahjng
No experience of this so can't really help, but I will say I hope everything's ok and you get good news soon
CARRINGTON
It should come back within a couple days to a week. However, with my vet if it is good news then you don't hear anything and if it is bad news you hear something, but generally things like that are anywhere from 2 days to 10 days depending on where they have to send it off to as well as how many others have to be examined, etc.

Emma
Didn't the vets tell you? Personally I'd call them and ask them directly. That way you'll have a definite answer. Fingers crossed for you all that it's good news. Xxx

Elyse
When my boy had surgery on his eye to remove a lump, it was discovered it was a benign tumour - which was a relief! I would call and ask them, if I were you. Sometimes vets (atleast mine) forget to call you. It only took a few days for us to get the results, but maybe that's because he saw a specialist (I don't trust my regular vet fiddling around with Suka's eyes!) clyvert
thanks again for the help, and advice folks, i know i really should have asked when i was there at the time but due to my head falling off and starting to panic as the vet was not at all happy with the lump i just wasn't thinking calmly,(more like panicking wildly)lol, but will phone the vet tomorrow and see when i can expect the results.hopefully it will be nothing, but it does set you off in a bit of a panic, cheers again guys
