Storm Angel n Auroras Mum Posted September 30, 2013 Report Share Posted September 30, 2013 Well, yesterday was Aurora's first open show. It was an experience to say the least. Most people I met were nice, one or two weren't quite as nice and there was even a few dogs that were not very friendly! I just dont get why people take non friendly dogs to dog shows! :wacko: Anyways, she wasn't the youngest dog in her class but she was the smallest She only got a VHC which was basically 5th place (there was only 5 dogs in her class!) But it was a learning experience. We entered the puppy stakes which is like a fun class at the end of the show, the top 3 places win small cash prizes. Aurora came second! Considering it was her first show she did wonderfully, she moved nicely and stood mostly nicely and didnt jump up at the judges too much!
