abbyerin
So, Sapphire has what it looks like to me as a cold. She has the runny nose and the build up of gunk in her eyes everytime she sleeps. Is there anyway we can get it out of her or do you think it's safer taking the beautiful girl to the vet? Elyse
[Topic moved to General Health] Correct me if I'm wrong, but it is springtime over there in Australia, yes? It could just be allergies, I know my boy's nose is runny during the spring.
abbyerin
Yes, we are now in spring. This is the first husky we've owned and she's now 6 months old so i'm just making sure this is normal or it has happened before.
Mazz
Could be allergies, could be something else. If it were me, I would check with your vet. Even if it is allergies, they can sometimes lead to other issues. Our Zoya has an allergy to grass. We have her on antihistamines to keep them in check. Otherwise, she ends up with ear infections. clyvert
when malakai had something that sounds similar (runny nose, and like green gunky stuff at the corner of his eyes every time he woke up)it turned out to be conjunctivitus, vet gave him some eye drops and within minutes it all came gushing out his nose, after that he was more or less straight back to normal, within about a day or two,dnt know if that helps any
