Sporn Non-Pull Harness

Got 3 of these for my guys.

(Mostly for Darwin really)

I've been Using them for a week and they really are very good.

Darwin is a sniffer, so he's all over the place. Holds back peeing on something then races forward.

So when he hits the limit there is still a jolt (no way of getting away from that)

However when walking normally even at the end of the lead, no pull or strain.

Daughtry is a plodder, out to the end of the lead, head down with the new harness exactly the same except

just slightly loose lead, no pull.

I'm bringing them to camp anyone who wants to try one is more than welcome, just ask :)

They look and feel flimsy, but they do the job very well.

I've just got one if these for Suki last week! She's the worst puller I've had but this makes a load of difference! Has started getting used to it a bit more now but still doesn't pull anywhere near as bad as before! Think il get one for Shadow too, although he only tends to pull on a short lead :). Good purchase!

They look like they are really comfy for the pups

They are

the front mesh Panel is elastic so when they pull against it it gives way and they back off

How A normal harness works is. . . they pull against it  So you pull back increasing the resistance

So they pull harder against you, so you pull back even more, they pull even harder against you.

With the Sporn when they pull against it the elastic mesh stretches So there's no resistance.

because they expect resistance and it's not there so they don't pull.

How hard is it to get it on an off them?

I use the metal pinch collars or else mine would pull worse than they already do, but if I could find an alternative that works I would love to switch!

Easy.

To put on keep the metal buckle at the top and hold the two half apart with the soft spongy bits to the back.

Slip over the head

Put the legs through the spongy bits and pull the toggle down to the metal buckle

Taking off reverse the process.

Takes about 15 seconds to put on. take off

How does it work when we are teaching them when and when not to pull?  Do you think they would know when they have their xBack harness on they can pull, but when they have this on they can't?

Jason, jason , jason. . . sigh

Copied and Pasted from earlier in this thread.. . . sigh :P
