Grooming From Pup To Adult

Well, we are picking up Noelle our first ever Husky on Saturday. I was wondering (especially for those in the UK) what and where you get your grooming equipment from? What would we need for her as a pup and then as an adult once the coarser hair takes over? 

 

We have a soft bristle brush currently which maybe useful for getting her used to brushing?

Puppies don't really shed. Even as an adult, all you should need is a metal comb, an undercoat rake (NOT a furminator!), and a slicker brush.

I don't think you need to worry too much atm because she's still a pup, but I also recommend the undercoat rake

I've always used a slicker and a comb on puppies and then a slicker, a comb and an undercoat rake on adult dogs. As already said puppies don't really need grooming but it's best to get the used to it from early on xx

I use what Sarah pictured above. As pups its not that big of deal as they dont have much hair to loose yet

The Mikki rake is a great tool!! I had a furminator and hated it but the mikki rake is kind and leaves our malamute so soft and sheds much less.
