Chula
These last couple of weeks, she has been the complete opposite of a puller. She just drags along. She only seems to want to go for walks for two purposes - to smell/sniff/eat plants and to chase squirrels. When we walk along in the street, she just looks bored and drags or has her nose to the ground like a blood hound. How can I get my doggers to enjoy just going for a walk? Jay
Hmmm....Yukon usually doesn't really care for walks, but he likes them when we get going. Maybe some treats
Elyse
Or maybe changing your route would help? Go in a completely different direction than where you normally go for your walks, take different side streets, etc.
Andy
Try to be excited, upbeat yourself. Talk to Chula, try to get her excited. Walk a bit Stop and engage in training, sit, down etc then carry on.
