Photos Too Big

I have some photos on my phone that I have tried to upload to here. The message under choose your pic says up to 128 Mb but when I try to upload, it says the pic is too big.

Surely they aren't that big?? How could I resize them on the phone? I can't believe they're too big to post here :-/

Phone cameras now take HUGE photos

In excess of 3000 pixels wide and Hundreds of megabytes in memory size.

So Yes you need to put them onto a PC or laptop and then use an Image resiser

Andy is quite right. 

 

Although the limit says 128mb the actual limit on the server is 2mb (if I remember correctly). Reason is actually for the same reason Andy stated also, as if I allow something much higher then imagine the space needed.

 

Currently for 100 photos I need to ensure the forum has a maximum of 400mb of storage space, if I increased even to 20mb I would need to ensure the forum has 1.95gb for every 100 photos. Thats a lotta space lol

Aw bugger! It's some waffle things that I think are the same that Jos brought over and wanted to check but I'm not at home! Never mind lol
