Keeonah Posted January 18, 2014 Report Share Posted January 18, 2014 I applied to the DVLA a little while ago for a personalised registration plate. The plate wasn't advertised anywhere and despite getting friends in the know to search all sorts of sites the plate could not be found. A phone call was then made to the DVLA who told me that the plate I wanted wasn't a personalised plate but if I really wanted it then they would make it available. I got an email from them a few days ago saying that the plate that I wanted was now available but I would have to bid on it in an auction. I have done just that but I am only going to bid the lowest amount I can. If anyone else decides to bid on it then they can have it. I don't really think that it will mean anything to anyone except me though so if anyone else does try for it then they are, in my opinion, just trying to make a quick buck, knowing someone wants it.
