Absence Does Make The Heart Grow Fonder

I spent this past week in the hospital. Nothing life-threatening, although serious enough. Anyway, Sally said Zoya would sleep by the back door waiting for my return every night. She also started to get a bit snippy with Eisa as the week went along.

Yesterday afternoon I was released and after a stop at the pharmacy for a boatload of antibiotics and other meds, we came home.

Zoya was extatic to see me. It brought tears to my eyes that this little furbaby really missed me. You have to wonder goes through their minds.

After she settled down, she stayed close to me and seemed more at ease with Eisa.

It's good to be home.

Glad to hear you're home Dave hope the recover goes well.

My guys are turning somersaults when I get home after a shift at work.

But it is great to know that they really have missed you.
