Sarah
Help I think we may have a wasp nest in or very near our house! Marc sat on one as a child and was so severely stung he spent 2 days in hospital so he is petrified of them now. I've found 4 in the house since yesterday all in the morning before windows etc are open so am thinking maybe it's a nest How do you find it! Emma
I'm placing my bets that it's in your loft, but like Rob said, watch to see where they return to. You'll also see a few of them hanging around the area, loitering, lol. I'm a bit Nervous of wasps too. I used to have an unfortunate habit of treading on them barefoot, pointing at them and picking them up when I was little. All of those ended up getting me stung, lol. On holiday once, one flew down my top and stung me in my armpit, I was mortified when the hotel reception guy wanted me to take my top off for a look! No chance! Lol. Oh and when I tried to get out the bath one day, one had snuck its way into my towel, I didn't realise until.......it stung my "chest area", now that hurt! Lol. mydiamond
@Emma - OUCH you made me cringe reading that D: I got stung on the back when I was 1 or 2 years old. I don't remember now, but I feel nervous nonetheless.

Jay
Yup, that pretty much sums it up!!!! I HATE wasps! I had never been stung before until about 3 years ago, but I am scared of them. I would hire someone to come out tbh
Andy
Good luck finding it. Environmental health from your local council should be able to help

mydiamond
I hate wasps horrible things on another note you seen the humble bees this hear they are massive!! How do you know whether they're humble or arrogant? Did they take off their little top hat and bowed to you? "Why, good afternoon, Ma'am! Isn't it a lovely day?"
