yamahar6wme
Hey guys lately I have been thinking about getting pet insurance especially as the dogs are getting older can any one suggest who to use preferably with a low excess and if there is one that pays vet directly rather than you forking out loads and then waiting to get the money back thanks x
Asslinn
I'm with pet plan. £100 excess but they are the only insurance company my vet will deal with directly.
mydiamond
I'm thinking about it too. I've read about Pet Plan here and there across the forum and I think people generally give it a positive review. Not sure though.

goingsolo
Dogs came with a free month on petplan and another free month if we signed up within 4 weeks. It was during this time Charlie was diagnosed with premature closing of ulnar plates. The total cost of treatment was £1800 and they paid up with no problem. Storm Angel n Auroras Mum
Churchill I'm with they do do vet direct payments if the vet lets you. Mine does. My insurance has been invaluable. I recommend anyone to get insurance
Asslinn
How much do they allow up to and is it per incident or up to so much a year thanks will have a look Think it's £7000/£7500 per year for life. I know it's life cover though. the certificate isn't at hand atm
Mishka1993
I am with DirectLine, I am paying 13.50 pounds a month, ( essential 12 months plan ), might be getting the life plan one when Mishka is getting older. I pay 75 pounds for the excess. I also heard that Petplan is really good as they cover almost everything and I heard good reviews about them too but the downside is that is more expensive than any other pet insurance.
