TheSimms Posted June 14, 2014 Report Share Posted June 14, 2014 Hello everyone We are new to the site, great to have somewhere for husky owners to meet. Our girl is called Kira, she's 15 months old. She came to us from two previous owners, she had not really been socialised with people or other dogs and was a bit underweight, now she has been with us for 3 months she is absolutely loving getting out into the world and is doing really well. We are located in East Surrey close to the Kent/Sussex borders. Looking forward to being a part of the husky community! Anyway good to have another member. There are a couple of places to put pics. Either in the Photo Discussion section under Members Mushes or you could start a new thread in the photo discussion area or in the introductions area that you have already posted in. She is not on the forum but is on FB and she has a lot of huskies, a lot of which she shows............. and wins. As you say there are not that many that spell it with 2 m's Gary. Nikknoo Posted June 26, 2014 Report Share Posted June 26, 2014 Hey there! Hope things are going well! My husky was rescued underweight & never been in a house, played with a ball or had a treat. It's amazing that this breed are so well behaved considering their start in life. Kira sounds like she's getting on well, good luck for the future! Out of interest are you near Westerham or Edenbridge? My mum is that way and I plan to take our Ghost to visit the area- I've not been in a while but used to take my Nan's lab to Farley! You are right, they are such quick learners and very clever dogs. Yes we are close to both, we take her round Chartwell at Westerham alot and Edenbridge is just through the lanes, so let us know when you're around.
