Removed #5
Okay, I'm back to looking for something to read. I like Historical Fiction, I think I've read everything that Christine McCullum The Autralians series was a good read, I don't know about it's accuracy but it was a good read. Almost anything of the Arthurian genre - since no one can tell whether it's accurate or not. Okay, anyone have any suggestions???

I'll have to take a look at Lawhead, I see I have several of his series - now to see if it's readable. Thank you sir!

Sci-Fi but he does quite good research into the time periods that the time commandos get sent into. Bit of a romp but gives you enough to want to look deeper into the actual events that happened. Removed #5
I typically don't mention Science Fiction since I'm a stickler - if you're going to call it Science Fiction then I'd appreciate it if the Science is reasonable. Stretch it where you have to for the story but make it believable Science. If you can't then call it Science Fantasy ... and I've gotten into some rather heated discussions. (much like the discussion about "24" on here, it's good fantasy but there's so much of it that's unrealistic, from a security standpoint, that it's just fantasy)
qweasd
I enjoyed the series about Genghis Khan by Conn Iggulden - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Conqueror-Complete-Collection-Conn-Iggulden-ebook/dp/B00ALKUQEE/. He also did a series about Romans but I have only read one of these.
