Clare70
After what can only be described as an exhausting day I finally have my pack kind of settled in together. Maiya is a bit of an escape artist, so we've been having to reinforce windows and doors. Harry has been a bit full of himself, not wanting to socialise with Maiya but she and Snow get on great We took them all for a walk this evening (she is wonderful on lead) and when we got back they had a bit of a dip in the paddling pool. I was waiting for the moment when Maiya was going to lay completely in it, though she was very happy to splash about and paddle. Harry joined in a bit too, dunking his head up to his eyes Snow just watched, barked and barked, then barked a bit more. Here are a couple of pics from today

Removed #5
Good photos! Are you going to be nice enough to identify who the strangers are in the photos, y'know, like "my husband" or < oops watch that "or"" > What were they all looking at in the pool, seems to have had them quite interested! The humans are my hubby, daughter and youngest son It's been another hot one today (36c) and we had just got back from a warm evenings walk. I'd even go as far to say that Snow was better behaved on his walk, hope it's the addition of a big sister

She was 'sold' as a malamute but looks so much like a giant husky Harry is big for a sibe and Snow is little, so we have a bit of an odd lot anyway
Clare70
Looks like it's going swimmingly well. Good so far, just taking each day as it comes. Got the first night to get through, dogs are shattered (they've been up all night too) so we are all a little cranky. We figured leaving the doors open so the dogs can come and go as they please is the best option, that way Harry can sleep on whoevers bed he fancies and Maiya doesn't feel shut out. At the moment she and Snow are sleeping side by side on the kitchen floor, just hope she stays there and doesn't try sleeping next to me, she's a big girl
Clare70
Time to update that signature You're right there. Been meaning to do Snows for a while now, so with the addition of Maiya, Andy.......!!!!!!!!
BIGBY
As an owner of a Malamute, she definitely seems more like a Malamute than a Husky. I'm only going off of the photo's though. You should video the pups

Clare70
First night. All was well, no accidents and the 3 of them settled down. I woke up in the middle of the night and checked on them all, Harry was in my sons room, Maiya and Snow were still laying on the kitchen floor. When my daughter got up she said Maiya was laying on my bedroom floor next to my bed All 3 have been out for a quick toilet break as we now have storms and they've all crashed out again
