Jase Posted July 28, 2014 Author Report Share Posted July 28, 2014 He learned how to do it from his best mate Kelly the Golden Retriever. Kelly is an adult male and has around 6kg on Ronin. When they have their play bouts Kelly can knock Ronin over on rare occasions and he will quickly lay on him! So my cheeky boy then used the same technique the following day on a Rotti he jousts with. Luckily all of the play is give and take and Ronin is very non reactive to other dogs however we keep a close eye on interaction. He is very smart and I need to be on guard for him picking up and trying out different behaviours LOL. Ronin is much faster than Kelly so he will tease him and then spring away, He will pick up a stick (he normally doesn't play with sticks) and drop it front of Kelly and will quickly grab it and trot around him like looking very pleased with himself Huskies really are such characters!
