Bambi92
As the title says has anyone had it done before? If so what did they do and how long was recovery? I was reading my MRI report for my knee and it says I have bruising and something about one part being flat not sure what part it's in Dr lingo Lol and a ganglion measuring 30mmX28mmX8mm it looks big on the scan and it came up on the xrays which it didn't a year ago I've never heard of it before now as far as I've read it's fluid build up I see my specialist next week to see what he says I'm guessing my other knee might be the same as it's getting worse and worse I have a pic of you'd like to see it

Bambi92
Wow, hope all goes well at the specialist for you, did you sneak a pic of your scan or did you ask for it? I picked up the scans from the imaging place and looked at them lol I always do I like to know what I'm in for before seeing the dr Sorry I've not heard of it, all I can picture is acupuncture, lol. Take care Laura, hope all goes well for you. Xxx That's the exact thing I thought of lol Thanks all I'm hoping it's not going to hurt to much I don't think that's the only thing wrong though I don't understand the dr lingo and the report is two pages long (longest report I've ever had) not looking forward to seeing him next week not only because I sort of know what I'm in for but its phoenix's birthday the same day so I hope he won't do anything that day
TessaHelen
My best friend had his knee aspirated End of June. I got to watch so I can tell you it wont be pleasant: lots of local anesthetic needed. Good news is knee now not so swollen and can do gentle climbing and walking 5 weeks later. advice: have lots of ice packs ready for your return home! Good luck! Oh that doesn't sound like fun they said my knee should be swollen because if the fluid but it's not is a tiny bit puffy compared to my other one but not by much. I don't get why my Dr didn't send me for scans on both knees not just my right one my left one had been playing up really badly the last week Thanks for the heads up
