swanglove
I adopted Jamie a couple months ago. She is beautiful and finally lost most of her unkept coat. I brush and comb her everyday, and her undercoat is gone on all of her body up to her neck. There seems to be a stopping point all the way around her neck just above her shoulders. My question is this: does she keep all the fur? should I expect that to shed too? Same question is for her tail too. I even groomed her legs, and she shed there as well. She is much happier with the lighter coat, and I can actualy feel her skin under her coat, except of course on her neck. Any feedback would be very helpful. Thanks! paisley&chad
that's how my chad is. his body is pretty groomed, but I can't get any of the hair off of his neck. it's frustrating! I don't think their tails shed, but I'm not sure. hope you figure something out !
goingsolo
The base of solo's tail forms clumps and loads come out at brushing
BingBlaze n Skyla
They'll loose all/most of their undercoat but keep their guard/top coat , tail fur will also shed etc too

paisley&chad
oh wow. chads back legs shed really bad, and the side, but I can't get anything off of his tail. it's so tangled. I'll put some detangler in and try again [emoji16]
Removed #5
Jana something that you'll learn is that it's *never* really over. Once they blow their coat there's still the normal shedding process. Ah the pleasures of being owned by a Husky ( or two or three )
thehairdresser
I bought a brush from just for pets that is like a furminator but half the price. It's like a clipper blade that cuts out some of the undercoat. This helps loads. I use a wire brush to start, then the undercoat brush and then the wire brush again to get out any loose bits. We do this in the garden!
