BlueWolf
I'm currently dog sitting 30 dogs again at the dog hotel. The owner will be back this evening and in the mean time I'll take her place It's currently fairly warm but the dogs are still full of energy. There's rain, hail and thunder expected later this day so that will be fun. All the dogs are outside (and together) but have 4 inside areas they can into if they want. The fun part is that they have a live webcam which you can follow. If you're lucky you may see me walking by once in a while. Either cleaning up or just playing with the dogs http://hondenhotelzwanenburg.nl/webcam

BlueWolf
That's it. I'm packing my stuff and moving to the Netherlands. Sounds like animal haven over there! Feel free to come over I found a carpet with a tongue It feels weird petting him but also kind of therapeutic when you move your hand through his dreadlocks. Skittish but very friendly dog. Lots of dogs following me! Even more! This one is determined to lick my face no matter what

BlueWolf
I should point out that I'm of course just posting all the highlights here. Working with so many dogs is a lot of work actually. To start it off, regularly cleaning the area. Both outside- and the inside areas and the dog houses. Replace the blankets inside (who knew 30 dogs could be so 'resourceful' with blankets!), move the sand back to the sandpit, tidying up the area outside the dog area, hosing the area if needed, making sure all the dogs behave and generally not noisy, refilling the water bowls, pond cleaning, deal with customers that come to collect/bring their dog and of course feeding time (which took me 2 hours yesterday). In between I make some photos and socialise with the dogs. But as you can see it's actually a lot of work behind the scenes to have this all running smoothly, especially when you're all on your own. It's very rewarding work though and I absolutely love it
