Mazz
The above photo is Ptarmigan Hut in Banff National Park, Canada. I spent a night there in 1980. Actually was in a tent until the eight inches of snow that fell that night collapsed the tent at 4:00 in the morning. Spent the rest of the night in the "hut". Emma
This is high falls in Bracebridge, ontario, Canada. It's near paul's relatives and we've been there ourselves. It's very pretty, love the forests! Although that's partly coz I'm looking for the fairies that live there, lol. edit: I don't remember there being a bridge when we went there though. Mind you last time i was there was in 1999, so it's been a while! And this isn't my photo becuause shortly after getting the films developed, we ended up losing most of them somewhere in the flat we lived in at the time. They never turned up again. Emma
Here's another pic from somewhere I've been but have lost the pictures for. This place is also near Paul's uncle and aunt. It's called Algonquin park and is also in ontario, canada. I did get my own pictures of the mooses but I thought that they were deer at first (i saw them from a distance, lol). Markulous
Don't know if the pics can be described as awesome - but the country is! A couple of shots from my trekking trip to New Zealand via Oz (without dogs!!) The helicopter, top left, was the excuse for taking the shot - we climbed above the snowline to just below that cloud layer (Wanaka) If you look carefully, you'll see that I've deliberately turned the pic upside down! (Wanaka) An early morning 6 shot stitched together pano (on the Routeburn Trail)
