sammybeans
So before we left to come to Ohio I arranged for Champ to have a play date with his friends from the rescue I got him from and we got some good pics of his last meet-up for a while. (these are in no particular order lol) He was so mad that I was making him leave, but we had to get my partner to work: And here's a pic of him sitting in his new favorite place at our new place:

W3R3W0LF666
He's beautiful! His face reminds me of the lead dog from the Disney 'Snow Dog's' film!
sammybeans
Thanks He is a looker, but I may be a little biased lol Here's another one from just after we moved and he settled down:
mydiamond
Curious question. Since most of his doggy friends are Huskies, did you get him from a breed-specific rescue? is it MUSH or HHSHR?
sammybeans
He did come from a breed specific rescue actually He's from a newer rescue that started up last year in Illinois called Raven's Husky Haven and Rescue or RHHR for short. He was one of their very first rescues, they pulled him from a shelter in Indiana because he just needed so much work to learn to trust people again, he needed a lot of help and they were able to give him the time and dedication that he needed to be the happy goof ball I now own and love. They actually pulled him before they had officially opened in Feb of last year, and they only take on 9 huskies at a time so that they can provide individual help to each of the dogs they take in. sammybeans
We were in Batavia, IL at the bark park there at West Main Community Park
Tnicole
Oh! I'm in Missouri, so I might check it out sometime. And Gunnar came from Illinois.
sammybeans
It was a nice park for the most part, make sure you bring water cause they don't have any water stations inside the park and it's a little bit of a hike from the parking lot and it's not really well labeled as it's off the paved path and you have to walk along some trails to get back to it lol
Tnicole
Ok, if I ever can go, I will make sure I bring water, but when I looked it up, it is 6 hours away from me...[emoji24]
sammybeans
That's quite the haul for a visit to a dog park, it's worth a stop if you're in the area but otherwise I wouldn't bother, it wasn't great enough to warrant a six hour drive lol
Tnicole
Yeah, and even if I did want to drive there, I couldn't, cause I'm only 13. Lol
