Talaboo
I have searched for a subject on the forum such as this but have found none. Tala got her own poo on her due to her running around like a loony in our back garden so I gave her a wash down with the hose, dried her and though nothing of it. 2 days later she started yelping sporadically and biting her bum. I took her to our useless vets and he diagnosed her with either fleas or sound sensitivity. Of course I googled his diagnosis and found out about timber/limber tail. Her tail was apparently paralysed temporarily due to me not drying the base. She looked like a hunting wolf without her curly tail!! Now all is well and I have my bouncy sibe back! Weird! Andy
I must admit I've never heard of this condition. biting / nibbling at the base of the tail, yes, as the vet suggested could be fleas. but paralysing the tail by not drying it sounds a bit spurious. Glad it's all sorted though
Talaboo
It has taken 2 weeks to get back to normal. I watched it actually get more movement over time! Always trust google!

Removed #5
Agree with you Tina, never to old to learn something new and this definitely is in the "new" ( and odd ) category. Went Googling and found some interesting reads ... do it yourself if you're interested.
