mylilhuskyboyICE
So the last couple hours Sabre keeps digging in the living room into the carpet, not too sure why, is there any reason for this? What can I do to stop it? Mum will be so mad if he digs a hole into her carpet!
Andy
It could be that someone has spilled some food there at some time in the past. And although thoroughly cleaned there is still plenty of nice smell there for a dogs nose. So he's trying to get to the "food"
Jay
Nikko does this when he's hyper. Same place I the carpet. I figured something was spilled there by the previous owners and he smells iy
paisley&chad
ooooh paisley only does that when she wants out of my room and the door is shut.. no help here, sorry! good luck though!
Andy
OH, yeah. When Daughtry gets locked in a bedroom she will destroy the carpet trying to get out
mydiamond
Diamond does that too. I don't mind him doing that, especially because whenever I softly say "hey, hey..." he'd stop. With my boy, it's just his way of making that particular spot a more comfy sleeping spot. It's kinda like us humans patting our pillows and arranging 'em. Jase
Put a bit of white vinegar on the spot he digs at. This should stop it. If he does it in another spot then it is not food remnants - either that or there is food remnants all over the place

mylilhuskyboyICE
LOL thanks everyone, I have a feeling he's trying to get comfy or he doesn't like it as his original owners had hard floors covered with rugs haha
robke
that could well be Alpha ruffles up his bed from time to time...
^Aurora^
Aurora does this if she gets stuck in a room, she recently used a stool to jump over the room decider into the conservatory while I was out and promptly tore the entire floor up because she didn't have a stool to get back out!!
