Today though we did get joined by a couple people later into it (i didnt get pics sorry) unfortunately they all had smaller dogs which is fine by me mine are friendly however... Skye can be quite jumpy and a bit rougher than shadow is with them and the owners were a bit funny. One guy picked his dog up to which Skye then just jumped at the dog that way instead so he put the dog back down and i held skye another owner came in with their small dog and she was frightened of skye..... so i just had to hold onto Skye all this time these people were in here... Shadow was running around playing with them all as he is very gentle with smaller dogs. I did feel so bad for Skye though but they didn't stay to long and i gave her a very good run once they had gone Its just ashame i cant take her and have more understanding owners so that i can teach her that her behaving like this means no play (she never hurts the dogs btw think she just doesnt realise how big she is!) Shes been socialised very well with smaller dogs and the dogs would have been abs fine its just the fact the owners were a bit worried about it. Aurora LOVES little dogs because she grew up with a dachshund named Abby. When the dachshund passed away we got Pasha because Aurora was very sad. Well every time we go to the dog parks near us and a little dog shows up Aurora charges it to say hello and almost every time the owners freak out and pick their dog up. I usually have to reassure them that Aurora is just excited because she loves little dogs and that she is extremely friendly (will lick the dog for hours if allowed).
