Nearly Got Killed

As a lot of you know, I work for Parcelforce. On Wednesday I was out doing my round as normal. I had just done a delivery and was going to get back in the van. As I rounded the front of the van to get back in,

a building supplies lorry overtook the van. The problem was he was travelling far to fast and far to close to me. I had to leap out of the way otherwise things would have been catastrophic. As it is my foot got caught on the edge of a pothole and I have twisted my ankle. Why do people drive like bloody maniacs. It used to be taught that if you see a hazard on the road you change down a gear and slow down. These days it seems to be the complete opposite. This has now led to me having to have time off work, which I don't get paid for and my holiday starts today as well. Happy days.

Gary.

Good god, sounds like a close call Gary. [emoji32]

So you'll be hobbling all the way to the bar in Tunisia. On the plus side, after a few pints you probably won't feel a thing! [emoji6]

Take care mate and happy holidays! [emoji574]️[emoji482]
