This will be the "On this day" topic where we can post things that happened on this day in previous years. So, here goes. On this day in 1968 students rioted across mexico, threatening the Olympic games which were to be held there. More than 25 people were killed diring a gun fight in mexico city just a few days before the olympic games were due to begin.
