NOREAST SIBE Posted October 4, 2014 Report Share Posted October 4, 2014 We love taking our two Huskies camping and they love it too, we are generally outside walking or hold on to a long leash at the campsite, after a long walk they are happy just laying around or laying by the campfire at night, does anyone use a portable kennel that would give us a slight break and still give the dogs some room without being tied out? robke Posted October 4, 2014 Report Share Posted October 4, 2014 Yes we use crates when we go camping ok only for sleeping at night but there are others that use them for your purpose...it is a wire crate big enough for them to be comfy in each has their own.. We had all 5 camping, crated 2 + 2 with 1 GSD next to them but this video shows how "stressed" 2 of ours were when we camped in the remnants of Hurricane Bertha (first time camping for the foster boy too) - it did get way windier too but double pegged the tent so we were one of the ones that survived on the campsite! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v119/Markulous/th_MVI_3584.mp4 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
NOREAST SIBE Posted October 4, 2014 Author Report Share Posted October 4, 2014 Thank you, I don't crate at home either but do have a crate, I was wondering if anyone uses more of a large kennel type set up, one that both dogs can go in, something pretty big they can walk around in that comes apart for travel. There's no room for them to walk around in there just lying down.
