Eye Colour Question. Feeling A Little Bit Fooled...

We finally got our Husky pup this morning, and whilst the description was ice blue eyes, he's come with his left ice blue, and his right is darker. Almost a black, but you can very faintly see ice blue behind. Not much, but the faintest spec. Sort of like a solar Eclipse. I was told that his eye will slowly change to ice blue and it's common in puppies. Or is she full of....?

Thanks,

Mike

Could you show us a picture of what you mean?

I've never had a tiny pup so really can't say if it's common or not.....was wondering off the top of my head if maybe it's the start of a parti-eye (where one eye has two separate colours). But I honestly don't know.

Huskies with different coloured eyes are very common.

It is allowed in the Breed Standard.

This is a Portrait of my girly Daughtry.

The picture didn't load. Ah well. If he's bi coloured, then no big deal. Just think it's stupid that someone would feed you false information to get a sale. Time will tell though. He's really small haha

It could be that the pic is too big

Use this (it's free and safe to use)  http://www.obviousidea.com/windows-software/light-image-resizer/

Resize it down to around 1500 pixels wide and it should load.

I'll start a post once I get a good few pictures. He's asleep at the moment. Let him out twice, and he's been to the toilet, so made a fuss and gave him a treat :) Decided on "Helsinki" for his name. Although may change it...but most likely will stick :)
