leelibrian
Hi guys! I have been reading as many things as possible on this site and thrilled to be a part of it now! My name is Kizzy I am 20 and I live with my fiancé danny and our two furbabies leeli the siberian husky and brian the alaskan malamute! I want to ask so many questions! I have been looking for leeli's mum for ages as I lost contact with the breeders, maybe someone can help? Also I've been watching the husky camp videos and would love to come if its okay and if there is still room? Would be in a tent! My parents want to come as well as they love the breed so much. They died of happyness when I showed them the videos! My leeli is 18 months old and a little devil! She has a bit of a dodgy eye I think as she runs in to walls sometimes and can't always see the treat when its infront of her. brian is a 7ish year old mally? He's from a rescue and we believe he was beaten but were making up for his sad years by cuddling him and giving him as much love as possible! He seems to be very dominant with other dogs and its hard to hold on to him sometimes because of how crazy he goes when he sees them. He also loves children and seems to want to play with them/chase them. Has anyone else had this problem? I will try to attach some photos! Thanks for reading guys! Can't wait to start chatting! Emma
Hi there and welcome to the forum. If she's from a kc registered breeder you might be able to track them down on the kennel club website. Ice came from a not so good start and although we got him fairly young the effects were long lasting and he was still very frightened. He tried to make himself look big and tough to hide it though. He's a lot more calmer and relaxed these days but does still have his moments.

leelibrian
No she wasn't sadly! I am not too sure if they were good breeders if I'm honest because she was very jumpy and flinches a lot :/ ah I am trying to get brian socialised , actually planning on taking him to a yorkshire husky meet and hope he doesn't go mental! Oh and here is some more pictures since I've figured out how to properly [emoji28] the third image is where he got too hot so we buried him in the sand and cooled him down! Andy
Great pics. The forum doesn't allow you to post attachments until you've made at least 5 posts (it's an anti-Spam thing.) When you can here's where to find the FAQ to do all sorts of stuff http://www.husky-owners.com/forum/forum/25-feedback-help/
Andy
Ah brill, would you mind if I brought my parents? Lol! They are searching for a trailer for the car so we can come! The more the merrier. Some of us have multiples of huskies and other breeds, so it's possible they can "borrow" one or two for when we all go for walks down the beach

Clare70
No worries I'm happy to answer So far she seems ok with other dogs but we don't really get to see many other dogs because we live in the middle of nowhere. She does suffer with some SA particularly with me I find if she's with one of the other dogs she's not so bad. For example I can't walk all three at the same time so I walk her with one of the others and when I walk the third one she's at least not on her own. She does share my bed for most of the night but we made the choice to allow her to do this, though she does get too warm and lays by me on the floor. I don't know what she's been through so we give her pretty much what she wants, though she is such a good girl in every other way it's not an issue. I'm lucky to be able to be home all day with the dogs so they are rarely home alone
leelibrian
Oh that's really good! Brian loves my fiancé to death and has to always be with him. I posted in training and behaviour about how bad his sa and reaction to dogs and children is. Because he is really bad bless him. Sounds like your baby is in a really good place! I can never understand why people treat some dogs sometimes. Especially such gentle giants like malamutes and such loveable crazies like huskies!
