Sadly I have just had to put Sasha to sleep. Broke my heart. 11 years is a long time and we had a special bond. His brother is not quite the same now. I'm getting there slowly and I know his paw prints will be on my heart forever. I hope he had a brill life and I'm glad he let me be part of it. I've had much comfort and incredible advice off this amazing forum. Everyone is really friendly and so helpful. Had to show how my Eski greeted the builder/heating/engineer you-name-it and a former sea cadet colleague - he popped in to collect an office chair I wanted rid of; she was a real flirt with him! It's hard carrying on afterwards, it's 14 months since I had to make the heartbreaking decision for my 10 yr old boy (in my pic on the left) and it still hurts some days but that's when you know you loved them & they loved you right back.
