Mike_1809
Hi all, Not been active on here for a while, but I'm going to start to a bit more. My Husky, Helsinki, is now reaching quite big, and I wondered if people could give me advice on picking a harness and a dog lead which is suitable for Huskies. At the moment I just want one for general walking. Cheers, Mike

Mike_1809
What are the differences between a harness and a walking belt? As in what are the main functions of each, and what is each one better for than the other is?

Mike_1809
Oh god I'm such a numpty haha. I get it now. Do you have any advice on specific leads that are good to accompany are a harnes. Also are Indi-Dogs as good as the the K9 harness? And is it just a case of measuring Helsinki with a tailor's tape to get measurements? robke
i have seen the houdini harness that indi-dog makes and it is bleeping good... I would use a police lead so that you can shorten and lenghten it..and again with Indi dog you can have extra hand handles in them... Sarah
Heya Mike Another proud owner of the Julius K9 harness - I also to be safe, have a link lead (about 10 inches long) that clips from the collar to the harness so if they slip the harness they're still attached. I have a walking belt from indidog and have had it around 3 years now - still brilliant and it gets a lot of use with my 3 on it

I've used a www.walkyourdogwithlove.com non pull harness on my boy only thing that worked with him , canny collar ( headcollar) helped at first but he soon just pulled in that too n a martingale didn't help either
