New Male Husky To The Family

We currently have Lucy and she's nearly a year old and we decided to get a second male husky to maybe someday become breeders. He is a pure white husky named Archie and he's extremely fluffy and chunky so far they have been playing and getting on extremely well. Here's a pic

Thanks guys as for having two huskies in the house hold now do any of you recommend any good toys that can be played with by two dogs at the same time to encourage playing together as Lucy is starting to be a bit territorial over her toys with him.

The territorial issue does not change or go away, depending on what types of toys are involved.  Unfortunately, it may just be an issue you will have to deal with.  A time may come when one dog can play with a toy and the other will not interfere, but that takes time for the pack order to become established.

I think I'd put all toys away, at least until they are happy with each other.  You don't want a reason for them to fight, it can takes a long time to get them to settle if they have a fight so best to avoid one at all costs.

Mine have been together for 7 months now and we still have the odd 'arguement'. :)

Some good advice? Be sure to read all of Joanna Kimball's Ruffly Speaking articles before deciding to breed. Good breeders use outside studs much more often than any male that they own. A kennel is mostly built off of bitches.

Thanks we won't be breeding for quite some time as we wanna make sure we do it right anyway so I'll read everything I can. An unrelated question I need some advise with Lucy as atm I think she has reached her maximum hieght as she's 23cm to her whithers but I can't help but think she's underwieght when we do everything we can to get her to eat more she just isn't jnterssted in the food. We can feel her back bone when stroking her down her back. She's about 10 months old now is this normal or a sign of being underwieght. She is also 19kg at the moment
