Abreu
I found this male dog near to my house, im wondering if this is a husky or a malamute.. Help please, people here say that this is a husky, but i dont agree
Elyse
Looks more like a Malamute to me (the wider earset, stockier legs). But Malamutes are usually bigger than that, I think. So it could be a wooly husky. Or it could be a mix. Or it could be a purebred husky, but badly bred. Edited April 1, 2015 by Elyse

True, i love all the dogs, but i found this one a little bit "ugly" for a husky, they dont have so much hair
jmscott
· Hidden Hidden Looks like a pet bred Siberian. Link to comment
Dan
Looks like it could be fairly young? I'd say a Malamute too though. The height kinda threw me off but looking at the front legs, kinda looks like growth plates.
elenamarie
Looks to me like a "wooly" siberian. It's a flaw in the breed standard but some people breed for it purposefully. Could also be that the poor thing hasn't seen a brush in ages and is matted. Poor nutrition can also inhibit normal shedding, resulting in the too much hair look. I don't have mals but I've long thought malamutes are much larger than that. I vote husky, either "wooly" or in desperate need of grooming and good nutrition. Clare70
The eyes look blue in the picture meaning its not a pure Malamute, so more likely some form of cross breed. He/she looks sweet though
BingBlaze n Skyla
With the blue eyes it is definitely at least PART husky , they can have longer fur , and are gorgeous with a long coat
Zani
Malamutes dont have blue eyes. So i would say long coat husky.

Rachel Kay Scroggins
I agree. Wooly husky due to the blue eyes and smaller stature.
NOBELHOWLUC49
What ever breed or cross he is I hope he is being loved and taken care of. And I think he is gorgeous. X X If anything I'd say there was Collie in him mixed with Husky.
Guinnessman
I was thinking a bit of Collie as well. Something about the way he holds himself
jmscott
· Hidden Hidden I don't see any herding breed at all. Link to comment
Emma
Awww. The wide set placing of the ears suggests malamute but the eyes say husky, maybe a mix of the two? There are quite a few "huskamutes" around.
mydiamond
Voting for 100% wooly Husky x
