But as I recall neither parent had been tested for genetic eye issues, so it probably wouldn't be amiss to schedule an appointment with an ophthalmologist. With OFA they can be certified at any age. robke Posted April 7, 2015 Report Share Posted April 7, 2015 I have a partie-eyed one as well Alpha has 1 that is 3/4 brown and 1/4 blue...nothing wrong with him vet checks it every time with his equipment..and I do not know anything about history due to him being a rescue but not going to spend money on a ophthalmologist as that i think is not needed if the vet does his checks twice a year and if he sees something the should not be there then I will go and see a specialist...
