Mike_1809
We've been quoted 2 different lifetime policies by them. 2x Classics at £31 for £4000 cover, and £34 for £7000 cover. And Ultimate cover for £44 for £12000 cover. With a Husky, would I be adequate with one of the Classic covers?
Carly
I pay £40 in total for £4000 cover on a lifetime policy for both of mine....that's with Healthy Pets
Mike_1809
I looked at them, but they don't seem to cover much. They say they will pay vet bills up to that price, but when you look closely, it's most relating to how much they will pay out for dentistry. The other costs a relatively small if your dog needs treatment :/
Carly
I actually spoke to them and read the policy thoroughly before I bought it to ensure it was a suitable policy and was satisfied after I had done both of those things......it's a big deal so it's best to be sure
viamphie
I prefer to put the money into a savings account and pay for the vet as I go. Sent using the power of telepathy
Asslinn
I've got the lifetime cover up to £7500 I pay more than your quote
Mike_1809
It could be his age that determines. But what is a good price to insure a husky for. I just don't wan to pay another £120 a year if it's not needed
Lisa n Skye
i went with petplan just over 3 years ago when i got Skye. i got the petplan ultimate - covered for life - which covers vet fees upto £12000 as for me i thought it was the best. But i did alot of looking around before i made my final decision and like i say i chose that one so i knew she was covered for life plus the higher benefits seemed more beneficial if i ever needed to claim. My payments are about £37/£38 per month. Skye is my first dog, we as a family had dogs and cats before but we never had pet insurance for them, but with the huge payments we had to spend at the vets with one of our dogs, and with one of the cats, I decided it would be better to have pet insurance for Skye incase we ever have them kind of payments to make again.
