Snoring Huskies??

Recommended Posts

two of my mutts sleep quietly but the old boy shep some times needs an elbow in the ribs

(as you can guess he sleeps on the bed) to stop. It seems to be how deep he is sleeping,

light sleep quiet breathing comatose dead to the world he will rattle the windows give

him a poke nudge elbow and he will shut up roll over move a little.

He is also a kicker starts to dream and kicks out with his legs snorting and whimpering

probably dreaming he is chasing cats or drinking out of the toilet and the lid fell down

again. He did suffer this indignity once, I had left a hand towel on the toilet and the

lid was up just on point of balance he must have knocked it and thud yelp bang

He was a grumpy fuzzy for a day or two and I got the blame, would catch him giving me the

evil you did that look, suppose I made it worse by laughing when I worked out what had

happened.

Never laugh at a German Shepherd they take it as a personal insult and make you pay

Mine whines, whimpers, and makes all sorts of funny noises sometimes while he's dreaming. I'm assuming its nightmares, because its not all the time...and when I wake him up (to save him from the nightmare!) and he goes back to sleep, most of the time it doesn't happen again.  :erm:

He doesn't as much anymore. When he was about 5 months he really did, I wanted to secretly record him and my wife one night as they were dueling, who can snore the loudest at 3am.  :P

But he does have doggy dreams, as hes been making lots of noise recently while sleeping.
